The Standard of Excellence
From our very beginning to the present, we have focused on offering the most progressive classical styling expressed in the sartorial prototypes which bridges the 1930s with the present. Regardless of fashion extremes, we will remain constant to the language of good taste, and proportion and balance that project good taste without staidness.

We offer neckwear, shirtings, and shoes which combine to create a wardrobe for the gentleman of sophisticated taste, and understated style, albeit with an occasional boldness. We offer clothes of classic proportion and balance, in the finest fabrics and craftsmanship. And because we understand that such a wardrobe is best appreciated by a man educated in the skills of tasteful dress, and the quality of manufacture and material, we provide this information throughout our webstore.

Our shirts are made from 2 ply 100’s cotton and better materials. Our shirts come with French cuff, only Windsor and cutaway spread collars, and split yoke for ultimate fit, and mother of peal buttons standard.

Product Availability
We try to anticipate demand at the beginning of each season, but with such a commitment to value, our clients recognize the quality of our product and, we are occasionally surprised by the response to a particular item. Due to exceptional demand, we may need to replenish merchandise, or special order merchandise made exclusively for us.

Most woven neckties, and many of the shirts we sell, remain part of our continuing collection. When these are temporarily out of stock, we always replenish them, so delays on such items are relatively short. If there is a delay, we will notify you by mail preference, i.e. E-Mail, or Snail Mail. Of course, we will only charge your credit card for any merchandise that has been shipped. The initial shipping charge will also cover the delivery of later items.

However, sometimes delays may be longer. Some of the designs shown are more readily available at certain times of the year. We will work towards to insuring that delays are as short as possible; and definitely keep our communication channels open with our customers regarding delays due to manufacturing or material availability issues.

Product Info and Care
While there are many detailed bits and pieces of information we can provide our customers about the beautiful products we sell, here are some key points of information which may help you in the care of your purchases, and therefore ensure their long life and your enjoyment of them.

Neckwear should never be dry cleaned by a commercial dry cleaning establishment as this damages the "gum" of the warp of a Ben Silver woven necktie. Our fine printed neckties suffer in other ways in the dry cleaning process. If you soil your necktie, blot it carefully, and when dry, with your finger nail, lightly scratch the surface of the stain. Often the residue can be removed in this way. Certainly avoid pressing a necktie. Never pull off a tie. Untie it in the opposite way in which you tied it. Hang your tie after use to ease out the creases, and allow the tie to regain its shape. Use your cellophane tie sleeve to travel without wrinkles.

Shirts are best washed and ironed at home or by your laundress to avoid undue shrinkage. Commercial laundries use excessively hot water, and pump some amount of starch into all wash, regardless of your request for "no starch." Such cleaners also use automatic presses for ironing. All these factors contribute to tightening of the fine long staple fibers in an Ashlee & Seon shirt, and give the illusion of shrinkage. In fact, an apparently shrunken shirt can be reclaimed with gentle washing at home, and careful hand ironing of the collar.

Jackets, suits, and fine garments in general, are better cared for with a good brushing, a light steaming, and a very rare dry cleaning. The cleaning process is simply not beneficial to the wool or other natural fibers.
